reason for coming to nyc eben came to new york city after his parents found out that he was homosexual. they refused to keep paying for him to go to smu so when he finished his first semester he was forced to drop out and make his own way. instead of staying in texas and trying to find a way to live, he moved to new york in hopes of finding a more open minded and accepting community in which to live.
